THE SCIENCE OF READING
The Science of Reading (SoR) is a body of knowledge that encompasses a whole world of research, articles, and claims. It is…
“the emerging consensus from many related disciplines, based on literally thousands of studies, supported by hundreds of millions of research dollars, conducted across the world in many languages. These studies have revealed a great deal about how we learn to read, what goes wrong when students don’t learn, and what kind of instruction is most likely to work the best for the most students.”
Collaborative Classroom - CONVERSATION ABOUT THE SCIENCE OF READING AND EARLY READING INSTRUCTION WITH DR. LOUISA MOATS Read More
Under the Science of Reading umbrella, there are many sources of information. Some of it’s great and some of it’s a bit misleading or confusing . That’s where we can help. We know how busy you are! Let us collate, curate and communicate, up to date, evidence based information and provide learning opportunities for you.
We are experienced classroom teachers, who have been working in Victoria since 2003. We are passionate about all children learning to read as proficiently and efficiently as they possibly can.
