  • Practical ideas for teaching at all levels.

  • A guide to scope & sequences, whole school planning & daily instruction.



WRITING

Professional Development Seminar -  Half day or  Full day (dig a little deeper)

This seminar will cover:

  • What does the research tell us?

  • Components of writing - Handwriting, spelling, syntax, vocabulary, sentence structures, planning, editing.

  • The Writing Revolution.

  • Genre writing.


Continue your learning and implementation of Structured Literacy with follow up sessions

CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS:

  • See it in action. We’ll model lessons for you in your classrooms. Then participate in a Q&A session about what you have seen.

  • Collaborate & Plan. We will work with your team to design lessons and on-going work programs using the skills and knowledge from within your school. We can provide sample scope & sequences, literacy block planners, whole school planning documents, etc.

  • PLC partners. Tell us what you have identified as a need for your school, or let us start from scratch with some assessments to help take the pulse of your students reading and writing skills.


  • Touch base and revisit. What progress have you made since initial visit/s? What’s working well for the teachers and students? What questions or issues do you have? Where to now?
